Dan Mogaka is a seasoned Public Health and Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist with over a decade of experience in humanitarian and emergency response. He currently serves as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the World Health Organization (WHO), where he supports the Africa Region’s M&E activities in Fragility, Conflict, and Violence (FCV)-affected countries. In this role, Dan leads the development and implementation of innovative M&E frameworks that demonstrate measurable outcomes in complex emergency contexts and ensure targeted interventions remain effective and accountable.
His expertise spans indicator design, data analysis, performance monitoring, and results-based reporting—skills he leverages to strengthen program effectiveness and inform strategic decision-making. A strong advocate of the One Health approach, Dan promotes cross-sector collaboration to address zoonotic diseases and shared public health threats.
Fluent in French, English, and Swahili, he brings a unique combination of technical insight, regional experience, and cultural fluency to his work.
