Dan Mogaka is a seasoned Public Health and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Specialist with over a decade of experience in humanitarian and emergency response across Africa. He has worked with leading international and humanitarian organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the Kenya Red Cross Society, and Plan International, where he has contributed to designing, implementing, and managing data-driven systems that strengthen health outcomes and accountability in crisis and development settings.
Currently serving as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the World Health Organization (WHO), Dan supports M&E activities across Fragility, Conflict, and Violence (FCV)-affected countries in the African Region. In this role, he leads innovative monitoring and reporting approaches that help track performance, measure results, and inform strategic decision-making in complex emergency contexts.
His expertise includes indicator design, data analysis, results-based reporting, and performance monitoring, all anchored in a commitment to evidence-based action.
