Evidence Frontiers collaborated with the Coalition on Violence Against Women (COVAW) to design and deliver a comprehensive training on Lobby and Advocacy Strategies for the Girls Advocacy Alliance (GAA) in Kenya. This initiative aimed to bolster the capacity of partner organizations and youth advocates in effectively influencing gender equality and child rights policies. Our experienced team facilitated dynamic and interactive sessions that covered essential topics such as advocacy planning, stakeholder mapping, evidence-based influencing, and message development, utilizing real-world case studies and participatory methodologies to foster engagement and learning.
Throughout the training, participants actively developed actionable advocacy plans tailored to their specific contexts. They enhanced their understanding of power dynamics, policy processes, and coalition-building, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive meaningful change in their communities. The training not only empowered individuals but also strengthened collaboration among organizations working towards gender equality and child rights in Kenya.
