End Term Evaluation of the Bomet WASH Project for Kenya Red Cross Society

Health, WASH, Kenya

Evidence Frontiers partnered with the Kenya Red Cross Society to carry out the End Term Evaluation (ETE) of the Bomet WASH Project in Kenya. This comprehensive evaluation aimed to assess the project’s effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, sustainability, and impact in improving access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services in Bomet County. Our dedicated team utilized a mixed-methods approach, employing household surveys, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions to gather diverse community perspectives and insights from stakeholders.

The results of the evaluation highlighted several key achievements, including the enhancement of water infrastructure, improved hygiene practices, and the strengthening of community ownership mechanisms. Additionally, we identified valuable lessons learned and strategic recommendations that will inform future WASH programming and policy engagement. This project exemplifies our commitment to fostering impactful community development through rigorous evaluation practices.
